Cari Groce, Head Tennis Professional

 


Cari is currently the Head Tennis Professional at Stonebridge Country Club in McKinney, Texas. Prior to becoming a Club Professional, she spent 21 years leading tennis programs at Tulsa, Washington State, Texas Tech, Cal State-Los Angeles and University of Central Oklahoma. Her coaching highlights include back-to-back Big Eight Championships while an assistant at Oklahoma State and PAC 10 Coach of the Year four times while guiding the Cougars to three Conference Division Championships. Cari was named USPTR National Coach of the Year in 2006. She earned All American Team Honors at the University of Nebraska in the 1980's and received her Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Administration and Management. Cari is a native of Stillwater, Oklahoma. Her family has spent their Summers vacationing in Crested Butte since the early 1970's. When in town, Cari loves golfing, fishing the Taylor River, and celebrating the 4th of July on Elk Avenue.
