Fitness Class Descriptions
From Yoga to Barre, all of The Club's classes are included in your Membership. All fitness trainers are certified in their chosen field, offering Members the most advanced and up to date techniques available.
Build your core strength, sculpt your lower body, and target new muscles by combining dance with traditional exercises. This class uses various props including a solid barre attached to the wall, as well as mats and hand weights. This class is a great way to improve flexibility and can help combat a typically slouched posture. Much of the class is focused on proper mechanics and body alignment. No dance experience is required. This class is inviting to all fitness levels.
Strengthen your core while lengthening and stretching your muscles with an hour of traditional Pilates. Youth Pilates available for ages 10-13
Blast your cardio fitness level through the roof with this class loaded with a variety of cardio training Some days you may do kickboxing, some days step, some days high/low impact, some days sports conditioning, but each day you can expect to challenge your aerobic and anaerobic thresholds.
Youth functional fitness
This class is designed for 10-13 year olds to learn about becoming and staying active, and developing healthy habits that they'll carry with them throughout their lives. This class will introduce the foundations of exercise and movement as well as proper gym/group class etiquette.
A gentle, therapeutic style of Yoga that utilizes props to support the body and help deepen the benefits of the poses. It is a soothing and nurturing practice that promotes the effects of conscious relaxation.
CORE AND ROLL
Challenging core exercises during the first 25 minutes with the final 25 minutes emphasizing shifts to stretching and foam roller work. Stretching fascia and deep breathing techniques are also performed.
Students will focus on linking conscious breath with a vigorous and mindful flow.
Amp up your Pilates practice with this faster paced routine. We will challenge your body with all the core work you're used to but add more balance, cardio and body sculpting elements. Come ready to challenge your body with this fun, energetic take on traditional Pilates.
Every sport and daily activity can be broken down into 7 movement patterns- Bend, Squat, Lunge, Twist, Push, Pull, and Gait. This class will consist of functional exercises by learning how to move through the 7 movement patterns properly as well as focusing on strength/core/balance.
